Burgh-Haamstede lies at the edge of the nature reserve on the Kop van Schouwen. In the village you will find shops, terraces and a surprisingly varied choice of restaurants, from pancakes to seafood and a romantic dinner. Slot Haamstede and its castle garden are within walking distance of the holiday home, and with a bit of luck you may spot roe deer.

## What to do

- Stroll through the village, shop and sit on a terrace.
- Walk or cycle to Slot Haamstede and its castle garden.
- Cycle through dunes and forest to the beach on the Kop van Schouwen.
- Have pancakes in the windmill or pick one of the other restaurants in the village.

## Practical

- Not every restaurant is open every day, so check the opening hours beforehand.
- You can rent bikes in the village, also with a delivery and pick-up service.
