Le Poirier is the restaurant of Hotel Ter Zand, quietly set between the dunes and the village. The name refers to the pear orchards that used to surround Burgh-Haamstede. Chef Terence van Lenten cooks in a refined, seasonal style with Zeeland produce such as fish from the North Sea and the Oosterschelde and meat from local farms. The restaurant is known for its excellent cuisine. In the evening it is candlelit, and earlier in the day you can stop by the cosy bar.
