Summer or winter, every season is a delight here for families, couples or friends. Holiday Home Toxopeus is in the lively heart of Burgh Haamstede, with nice shops, terraces and small restaurants. Forests, dunes and natural beaches are only a stone's throw away. Around the corner are the Oosterschelde National Park, the Neeltje Jans storm surge barrier and the bird-rich Plan Tureluur. Dogs are welcome\!

## The surroundings

The island of Schouwen Duiveland is known for its natural beauty of farmland, farms, the impressive Oosterschelde and bird areas, full of life.

And then there is the Kop van Schouwen with its vast forests (roe deer, fallow deer, woodpeckers), dunes and often squeaky-clean endless beaches.

The holiday home sits right in the middle. When you step out of the house, turn left into the village centre of Burgh Haamstede with shops, terraces and restaurants. Turn right and you walk straight into the dunes and forests, a stone's throw away.

Our tip: cycle if you can. There is an extensive network of cycle paths to reach the most beautiful spots. Several places a stone's throw away offer (electric) bikes, tandems and cargo bikes.
