Terms and conditions

Welcome to Holiday Home Toxopeus, an atmospheric listed home in the heart of Burgh-Haamstede. We warmly welcome you and kindly ask you to read the conditions below.

Reservation & cancellation

• A reservation is only final after written confirmation by email.
• Free cancellation is possible up to 30 days before the arrival date.
• If you cancel within 30 days before arrival, 100% of the rental amount will be charged.
• In case of a no-show (not arriving without cancelling), the full amount of the reservation will be invoiced.
• In case of nuisance, you may be asked to end your stay early, without a refund of the rental amount.

Payment terms

• The full rental amount as quoted by email must be paid within 24 hours of receiving the confirmation.
• If payment is not received, the reservation lapses automatically.
• Any damage to the house or its contents (beyond normal wear and tear) must be compensated immediately and on site.
• Tourist tax, cleaning costs and (where applicable) pet fees are paid on arrival if they have not already been paid with the reservation.

Use of the holiday home

• The house is suitable for a maximum of 4 people.
• Smoking is NOT permitted, either indoors or in the outdoor area.
• It is not permitted to organise parties, gatherings or other events without prior permission.
• It is not permitted to make film or video productions in or around the holiday home without prior written permission.
• The space must be left tidy.
• You must take into account noise nuisance for the immediate surroundings.
• It must be quiet between 23:00 and 07:00.
• Any damage must be reported and compensated immediately.

Check-in and check-out

• Check-in: from 15:00 on the day of arrival
• Check-out: before 10:00 on the day of departure
• Deviations are possible by arrangement.

Pets (dogs)

House rules for dogs (where applicable)

Your faithful four-legged friend is most welcome! To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, we kindly ask you to observe the following:

• Dogs are welcome, provided they behave calmly and respectfully.
• For reasons of comfort and hygiene, dogs are not allowed on the beds or in the bedrooms.
• Do not leave your dog alone in the house, unless this has been agreed with us in advance.
• Any damage must be compensated immediately.
• Dogs must not relieve themselves on the property – there is plenty of space to walk in the surrounding area.

Should your dog unexpectedly cause a nuisance, we will look for a solution together. In exceptional cases this may mean that your stay has to be ended early.

Parking

• Parking on the property is possible by arrangement; it may come at the expense of your terrace space.
• Free public parking is available within a 5-minute walk.

Identification & privacy

• Guests who book through the website are asked to identify themselves and to provide their name, address and place of residence.

This information is used exclusively for:

• Verifying identity
• Possible liability in case of damage

Your data is not shared with third parties and is handled in accordance with applicable privacy legislation. See our privacy policy for more information.

Liability

• The landlord is not liable for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings.
• Use of the holiday home and its facilities is entirely at your own risk.
