De Graanhalm is a real windmill in Burgh, where the Landegent family has been baking pancakes for decades. The next generation now stands at the griddles. The flour is still ground at the mill itself. Inside you can watch the bakers at work at the hot pans; outside you can sit in the large garden, by the playground or in the orchard. There are savoury and sweet pancakes, generous in size. The mill shop sells regional products, baking mix, souvenirs and mill beer, including Westhoek beers they brew themselves. Suitable for all ages, and a big hit with children.
