The Oosterschelde storm surge barrier is one of the best-known parts of the Delta Works: a barrier between Schouwen-Duiveland and Noord-Beveland. In the middle lies the artificial work island Neeltje Jans, built for the construction of the barrier and now connected to it. The island has a nature reserve and Deltapark Neeltje Jans, with attractions and exhibitions about the Delta Works.
