Rules for your dog

• Off the lead all year round, also in summer during the day, between the beach and the Oosterschelde storm surge barrier.
• From the car park until you are on the beach, keep him on a lead, and cleaning up is mandatory.

It is the only beach on the island where your dog may also run free during the day in high season. This way he can run free in summer too.

Practical

• You can park on the Kampweg in Burgh-Haamstede.
• Near the barrier there is a strong current in the water: do not let your dog swim too far.
• Always pay attention to the signs on site.
