Rules for your dog

• 1 October to 30 April: your dog may run free on the whole beach.
• 1 May to 30 September: on a lead between 10:00 and 19:00; early in the morning and in the evening he may run free.

The beach is wide and quiet, and your dog can swim there. At many beach pavilions, such as Duinzigt and Sand & Pepper, dogs on a lead are welcome and there is a water bowl.

Practical

• Parking: there are two spacious car parks on the Kraaijensteinweg, paid in the season.
• Different rules apply at Verklikkerstrand further along the coast.
• Always check the signs at the beach entrance: rules and times may change.
