Rules for your dog

• 1 April to 15 September: your dog must be on a lead day and night, because of rare breeding birds such as the little ringed plover.
• Outside that period the usual beach rules apply (see Westenschouwen Beach).
• In the dunes dogs must be on a lead.

A beautiful place for a long beach walk, also with your dog on a lead. Thanks to the lead requirement in summer, the birds can breed here undisturbed.

Practical

• The beach lies along the Verklikkerduinen, reachable on foot via the Verklikkerpad.
• Always pay attention to the signs: rules and times may change.
