’t Oliegeultje is in the harbour of Burghsluis, right on the water. The restaurant opened in the 1980s and is named after a clever skipper who used a natural channel to bring oil and water to the Delta Works. From the sunny glass-walled terrace you look out over the Oosterschelde; in clear weather you may spot porpoises and seals on the sandbanks, and binoculars are available on request. The kitchen is mixed, with fresh regional produce, fish and shellfish, meat and vegetarian dishes, and you can choose a three-, four- or five-course menu.
